My Exploration
In my own words, finding peace.
My own narrative around cacao has been a love story. In early 2018, I was introduced to the drink during a day long meditation retreat. And because of the profound experience, I began to incorporate it with my daily meditation and monthly ceremonial practices. For myself, I discovered that I always arrive with more clarity and a more grounded sense of peace, after drinking cacao with intention. It became such a powerful medicine for myself, I had the desire to share cacao and ceremonial practices with others.Â
It wasn’t long after, I found a teacher who taught me how to facilitate cacao meditations with reverence and love for the roots and history of cacao traditions. This isn’t a new practice, Cacao traditions have been around for thousands of years, originating all the way back to Mesoamercians in Central and South America.
